4.55V threshold supervisor for 5V rails
The TPS3824-50DBVT is a single-channel voltage supervisor from Texas Instruments, monitoring a 5V rail with a 4.55V threshold. That 0.45V below the nominal rail gives headroom for transient droop without false resets, but still catches a brownout before the processor's logic supply collapses. The output is push-pull, totem pole, and the device supports both active-high and active-low reset assertion, so a single part can drive a /RESET pin (pull low on fault) or a RESET pin (pull high on fault) without an external inverter.
SOT-23-5 package and supply range
The 5-pin footprint is common across the TPS3824 family, easing layout reuse. The device monitors a single voltage and requires no external timing capacitor — the 120ms timeout is fixed internally, reducing BOM count and eliminating a potential tolerance drift path.
No stock-holding claim — each order is sourced per RFQ.
