SOT-23-5 package — rework and layout notes
The TPS3823-50DBVT comes in a SOT-23-5 (SC-74A) surface-mount package. Five pins with 0.95 mm pitch — easy to hand-solder or rework with hot air. The small footprint (roughly 3×3 mm) fits tight layouts but watch the decoupling: place a 0.1 µF ceramic within 2 mm of the VDD pin. No exposed pad, so thermal relief is through the pins only; keep the copper pour under the body for a bit of heatsinking if the ambient runs near 85°C.
