Voltage supervisor for 3.3V rails — threshold and timeout
The reset output is open-drain, so it can be pulled up to any voltage up to the absolute maximum of the output transistor, making it compatible with 1.8V, 2.5V, or 3.3V logic interfaces without a level shifter.
Adjustable reset timeout — matching the downstream POR
The reset timeout period is adjustable or selectable via an external capacitor on the CT pin, which lets the designer set the hold time from microseconds to seconds to match the processor's power-on reset requirement and the supply ramp characteristics. This flexibility avoids the need for a separate timer IC or a supervisor with a fixed, non-negotiable timeout that might be too short for a slow-ramping supply or too long for a fast-starting system.
