The TPS3808G15DRVT is a Simple Reset/Power-On Reset IC that monitors a single voltage rail and holds the reset line low until the supply stabilises. The open-drain output lets you wire-OR multiple reset signals to a shared pull-up, common in multi-rail systems where one supervisor can't cover every domain.
Threshold, timeout, and temperature range
The 1.4V threshold is fixed internally — no resistor divider needed. That saves two passives and one node that could pick up noise on a dense board. Reset timeout is adjustable via an external capacitor, so you can stretch the delay to match the power-good rise time of a slow-starting regulator or a large bulk cap.
Without that thermal relief, the junction temp rises faster than the datasheet's RθJA assumes. Surface-mount only; the 6-WSON footprint is compact enough to fit under a QFN or BGA on a mixed-technology board.
