Active supervisor for single low-voltage rails
The TPS3808G125DBVT is a Texas Instruments Simple Reset/Power-On Reset IC that monitors a single supply rail and asserts a reset signal when the voltage drops below the 1.16V threshold. The reset output is Active Low, open-drain, so it can be wire-ORed with other reset sources or pulled up to a different logic voltage. The reset timeout is adjustable/selectable, giving the designer control over how long the reset pulse lasts after the supply returns above threshold — useful for sequencing multiple devices or waiting for oscillators to stabilise.
Threshold and temperature range for industrial use
With a threshold of 1.16V, this part is a natural fit for monitoring a 1.2V core supply — the margin is tight enough to catch brownouts without nuisance resets on ripple.
The SOT-23-6 package is a standard footprint with broad second-source availability if a line ever needs a backup.
