Two-rail supervisor for hot environments
The adjustable/selectable threshold lets you set the trip point per rail via external resistors, which is the standard approach for pairing a core voltage with an I/O or memory rail in multi-supply designs.
Housed in a 6-UFDFN package (supplier device package 6-SON, 1.45x1.0 mm), the TPS3779ADRYR is a surface-mount part with a small footprint. The 0.50 mm pitch and exposed thermal pad mean the solder paste stencil aperture for the centre pad needs to be sized to avoid bridging to the signal pads — a common gotcha on the first prototype run.
