Single-channel voltage detector with adjustable threshold
The TPS3710DSET is a single-channel voltage detector from Texas Instruments, monitoring one supply rail and asserting an Active Low reset when the voltage falls below the adjustable threshold. The open-drain output lets you pull the reset line to any voltage up to the absolute maximum of the pin, which simplifies level translation when the detector and the supervised device run on different rails.
No built-in reset timeout — external delay required
The reset timeout is 0 ms typical, meaning the output transitions immediately when the monitored voltage crosses the threshold. For applications that need a guaranteed reset pulse width — e.g., to let an MCU oscillator stabilise — you must add an external RC delay or a separate timer IC.
