125°C junction rating — where this part fits
Open-drain output and zero timeout
The reset output is active low with a typical reset timeout of 0 ms — the output asserts immediately on threshold crossing. This is a glitch-sensitive behaviour: the part lacks a built-in deglitch delay, so the downstream logic must handle short supply dips or the designer adds an external RC filter. The open-drain or open-collector output stage sinks current when the reset is asserted; the pull-up resistor is external, chosen for the target logic family's V_IH and rise-time requirements.
Threshold selection and monitoring flexibility
This avoids stocking multiple fixed-threshold variants for different supply voltages — one part number covers the board's various rail supervision needs.
