2.25 V threshold — the rail it watches
That threshold is set for a 2.5 V nominal rail — think FPGA core supplies, DDR termination, or any 2.5 V bus that needs a clean power-good handshake to the processor.
Dual reset outputs — one chip, both polarities
Both active-high and active-low reset outputs are available from this single device, so it mates directly with a microcontroller that expects a high-true reset or a low-true reset without an external inverter. The outputs are push-pull, totem pole — no pull-up resistor needed on the active-low side.
140 ms reset timeout — why it matters
That gives the power rail time to settle and the oscillator to stabilise before the processor is released from reset. If your system has a slow-start converter or a large bulk capacitor on the 2.5 V rail, this supervisor holds the processor off long enough to avoid a brown-out on first power-up.
