Product details

Automotive window supervisor with 1.15 V threshold

The TPS3703C7115DSERQ1: It monitors a single voltage rail at a 1.15 V threshold and asserts an active-low, open-drain reset when the monitored voltage falls outside that window.

Reset timing and output drive

The reset timeout is a minimum of 70 ms, which gives the downstream rail enough settling time before the microcontroller or SoC exits reset. This prevents the system from starting up while the supply is still ringing or ramping. The open-drain output lets the reset line share a pull-up resistor with other open-drain signals on the same rail, or connect directly to a GPIO with an internal pull-up. The active-low polarity means the output goes low when the monitored voltage is out of spec and floats high when the rail is good.

Housed in a 6-WFDFN package (6-WSON, 1.5x1.5 mm body), the part occupies minimal board area. Surface-mount assembly with a tape-and-reel or cut-tape option for prototyping. The exposed pad on the bottom of the WSON package should be soldered to a thermal land on the PCB to keep the junction temperature below the 125°C maximum under worst-case load.
