The TPS3513DR monitors exactly three voltages: 3.3V, 5V, and 12V. That covers the most common logic, I/O, and intermediate bus rails in industrial and telecom designs. For the typical 12V-in → 5V → 3.3V chain, this is a one-chip solution that eliminates three separate reset generators.
200 ms reset timeout — why it matters
The reset timeout is specified as 200 ms minimum. That gives downstream logic — MCUs, FPGAs, DSPs — enough time to complete their internal power-on reset sequence before the supervisor releases the reset line. If your processor needs a longer hold time, you can extend it externally with an RC delay on the reset output; if it needs shorter, this part may hold the system in reset longer than necessary. For most 32-bit MCUs and simple FPGAs, 200 ms is in the sweet spot.
