Three-rail supervisor for mixed-voltage systems
Outputs are push-pull, totem-pole, both active-high and active-low — so the part can drive a reset line to either polarity without an external pull-up. The reset timeout is 140 ms minimum, giving the power supplies and oscillator time to stabilise before the processor is released from reset.
Thresholds and the adjustable rail
The adjustable input (SENSE3) lets you monitor a third rail at any voltage above the internal reference — a common use case is a 1.2 V core supply or a 5 V I/O rail. The resistor divider ratio sets the trip point, so the BOM adds two resistors but gains flexibility. The fixed thresholds are factory-trimmed for 1.8 V and 3.3 V systems, which covers the most common mixed-voltage logic pairs in industrial designs.
It suits factory automation, outdoor telecom cabinets, motor drives, and power-supply control boards — any environment where the board sees seasonal temperature swings but not engine-bay heat.
