1.62V threshold — the undervoltage lockout for a 1.8V rail
That threshold is exactly where you want it for a 1.8V logic rail — it trips before the downstream processor or FPGA enters an undefined state, then holds the reset active for a minimum of 100ms after the rail recovers, giving the supply time to stabilise before the core starts executing code.
Push-pull output — one less resistor on the BOM
The output is push-pull, totem pole, active low. That means it can sink or source current without an external pull-up resistor — a clean signal to the processor reset pin with one fewer component to place and qualify. The SOT-23-5 package (SC-74A) is a five-pin surface-mount footprint, common and easy to rework.
