1.08V rail watchdog with push-pull drive
The TPS3123J12DBVT is a simple reset/power-on reset IC from Texas Instruments that monitors a single 1.08V supply rail and asserts a reset signal when the voltage drops below that threshold. The active-low push-pull output directly drives the reset input of an MCU or SoC without needing an external pull-up resistor, saving a component and a PCB trace.
100 ms minimum reset timeout
After the monitored rail returns above the threshold, the TPS3123J12DBVT holds the reset output low for a minimum of 100 ms. This ensures the downstream processor completes its power-on reset sequence before the core begins executing code. The 100 ms timeout is a standard value that works with most Cortex-M and ARM-based microcontrollers.
