What this supervisor does for your rail
The TPS3103E15DBVR is a single-channel voltage supervisor that monitors a 1.434V supply rail and asserts a reset signal when the voltage drops below that threshold. Its active-low, open-drain output lets you wire-OR with other reset sources or pull it up to a different logic voltage. The 65ms minimum reset timeout gives the downstream processor time to stabilize after power-up or after a brown-out condition clears, without requiring an external timing capacitor.
The 1.434V threshold is set internally, which suits monitoring a 1.5V or 1.8V core supply. The 65ms timeout is a minimum — budget the worst-case delay in your power-up sequence. The open-drain output stays low during the entire timeout period, then releases. If the monitored rail dips again before timeout expires, the timer restarts — this prevents a glitch from releasing reset prematurely.
