Current-limit accuracy and trip margin
The eFuse's current-limit accuracy is ±7.5%, which means the actual trip threshold can vary by that amount from the programmed value. For a 4A design, the minimum guaranteed trip point is 3.7A, so the load budget must stay below that to avoid nuisance trips. This tolerance is typical for integrated eFuses and should be factored into the overcurrent protection margin during BOM sizing.
