Programmable current limit and slew rate — inrush control without a separate sense resistor
The TPS25910RSAR integrates programmable current limit and slew rate adjustment, so the designer sets the turn-on ramp and fault threshold with external resistors — no external sense resistor needed, which saves board area and BOM cost. Built-in thermal limit and undervoltage lockout (UVLO) provide additional protection layers: the thermal limit protects the FET during extended fault conditions, and UVLO prevents the switch from turning on until the input rail is stable.
16-QFN package — footprint and thermal management
The TPS25910RSAR comes in a 16-VQFN with exposed pad (4x4 mm body, supplier package 16-QFN). Mounting is surface-mount only; the tape-and-reel (TR) option is the standard production reel, while cut-tape (CT) is available for prototype or low-volume builds.
