The Texas Instruments TPS25740BRGER is a USB Type-C controller designed for power delivery and cable-orientation detection in USB-C applications. It operates from a 4.65V to 25V supply rail, which lets it connect directly to common USB bus voltages or an intermediate power bus without a separate regulator.
