Four-channel I²C load switch — what the 15 mOhm Rds(on) means for the rail
The TPS22993PRLWR is a 4-output high-side load switch from Texas Instruments, controlled over an I²C interface. Each of the four N-channel MOSFET outputs handles up to 1.2 A continuous from a 1 V to 3.6 V load supply rail. The typical on-resistance of 15 mOhm and maximum current of 1.2 A are specified in the datasheet. The part includes a load-discharge feature that pulls the output to ground when the switch is off, and a slew-rate-controlled turn-on to limit inrush current into capacitive loads.
