Dual-channel load switch in a 1.5 mm² footprint
Housed in an 8-UQFN package measuring 1.5x1.5 mm (supplier device package 8-UQFN), it fits space-constrained PCBs in portable and embedded systems. The On/Off interface is non-inverting, and the slew-rate controlled turn-on limits inrush current into capacitive loads.
At 342 mOhm typical, the conduction loss per channel at 500 mA is roughly 85 mW — low enough to avoid thermal issues in the 8-UQFN package without a heatsink. The dual-channel configuration lets a single device switch two independent rails (e.g., sensor supply and I/O voltage), reducing component count versus two single-channel switches. The load voltage range from 1.62 V to 5.5 V covers common digital logic rails, including sub-2 V cores. No external Vcc supply is required — the switch is self-powered from the load voltage, simplifying the bias design. Built-in load-discharge circuitry pulls the output to ground when the switch is disabled, preventing floating outputs in multi-rail systems.
