15 A load switch for high-current power distribution
With a typical on-resistance of 4.4 mOhm, the voltage drop at full load stays under 70 mV, keeping I²R losses manageable in a compact 8-WSON (3x3 mm) package. The load voltage range spans 0.8 V to 5.5 V, covering 1.2 V core rails, 1.8 V and 3.3 V I/O, and 5 V peripheral buses from a single switch type. The part integrates slew rate control for controlled turn-on to limit inrush current, plus a load discharge feature that pulls the output to ground when the switch is disabled — useful for preventing floating outputs during power-down sequencing in multi-rail systems.
