Load switch with controlled turn-on for tight rails
The TPS22907YZTT: It switches a 1.1 V to 3.6 V load rail at up to 1 A, with a typical on-resistance of 44 mOhm. The slew-rate controlled turn-on limits inrush current, making it suitable for power-rail sequencing in portable and industrial designs.
At 1 A load, 44 mOhm produces a 44 mV drop and 44 mW dissipation. The P-channel output requires no external Vcc supply; the On/Off logic input is non-inverting and directly drives the gate.
Slew-rate control and fault protection
The slew-rate controlled output ramp prevents the upstream regulator from drooping during hot-plug events. The part does not include overcurrent or thermal fault protection — the buyer must budget external protection or rely on the upstream supply's current limit.
NRND — last-time-buy planning required
Production is ongoing, but TI has signaled end-of-life intent. Buyers should secure final-order quantities or evaluate a pin-compatible replacement for new builds.
