The Texas Instruments TPS2236DAPR is a six-output high-side power-distribution switch designed for ExpressCard slots. It switches two independent load rails — 1.5 V and 3.3 V — with a 1:2 input-to-output ratio, meaning each rail feeds three of the six outputs. Each output is rated for 1.3 A continuous, with a typical on-resistance of 45 mOhm. Built-in fault protection includes fixed current limiting (no external resistor needed) and over-temperature shutdown. A power-good output and a status flag provide feedback to the host controller for sequencing and fault reporting.
