What this dual-input power switch does on your board
The TPS2113ADRBT is a dual-input single-output source selector switch with integrated N-Channel MOSFETs, replacing a pair of Schottky OR-ing diodes and their forward-voltage drop. It selects between two power inputs (2:1 ratio) and delivers up to 1.25 A continuous to the load, with a typical quiescent current of 55 µA that matters when the device is on battery.
Switching timing and what it means for power sequencing
Turn-on delay is 1 ms typical, turn-off delay 5 ms typical. If your load has a large input capacitance, the 1 ms turn-on ramp prevents inrush from tripping the upstream supply; the 5 ms turn-off gives a downstream regulator time to discharge before the input is removed.
