What this C2000 Delfino MCU brings to a real-time control board
The TMS320F28375SPZPT is a 32-bit C28x Delfino MCU for closed-loop control. The 200 MHz core runs control-law computations. Its 1 MB Flash holds the main application plus a safety software stack. The 14-channel 12-bit ADC and three 12-bit DACs sit on the same die as the PWM timers, so you can sample current and voltage, compute the next duty cycle, and update the PWM output in a single interrupt service routine. That eliminates the latency of external converters and the board space they consume.
This part carries an end-of-life (EOL) designation. TI has issued a last-time-buy window; once that closes, the only supply channel is independent distribution.
