What this C28x Delfino brings to a real-time control loop
The TMS320F28332PTPS is a 32-bit C28x Delfino MCU rated for 100 MHz operation, with 128 KB of on-chip Flash and 26K x 16 of RAM. It carries 16 channels of 12-bit ADC, a full CANbus interface, and a DMA controller. The 100 MHz C28x core delivers a MAC operation every cycle, so the PWM update and ADC conversion can be synchronized without microsecond-scale jitter. The 16-channel 12-bit ADC captures three-phase currents plus DC-link voltage in a single trigger sequence — no external mux needed.
Temperature grade and package — built for the panel, not the bench
Supply range of 1.71 V to 1.89 V on the core, with separate I/O rail. The internal oscillator eliminates the external crystal for basic clocking.
