The TMS320F28068MPFPQ: The C28x 32-bit single-core runs at 90 MHz.
Automotive temperature grade and AEC-Q100 qualification
Rated -40°C to 125°C and AEC-Q100 qualified. The temperature range covers under-hood ambient plus self-heating.
On-chip peripherals and connectivity for a real-time controller
The peripheral set is built for a motor-drive or digital-power controller that must close loops locally while talking to a higher-level system. Twelve 12-bit ADC channels sample the phase currents and DC-link voltage simultaneously. The PWM module with dead-band generation drives the inverter gate-driver directly. The CANbus interface connects to the vehicle CAN backbone for torque-command and fault-reporting frames. I²C and SPI handle encoder interface and configuration EEPROM. The 40 GPIOs cover the feedback signals, relay drives, and status LEDs without an external expander.
