The TMS320F28027DAT runs a 32-bit C28x core at 60 MHz.
64 KB Flash and 6K x 16 RAM — firmware fit
64 KB of Flash holds the control firmware plus a Modbus or CANopen stack for a single-axis drive. The 6K x 16 RAM is tight for data logging — plan to stream telemetry out over SCI rather than buffer it locally.
Industrial temperature range and on-chip peripherals
Seven 12-bit ADC channels handle three-phase current sensing plus a DC-link voltage and a thermistor input.
