The TMP102AIDRLRG4 achieves ±2°C typical accuracy, with a ±3°C maximum over the full -25°C to +85°C range — this is the grade that governs fit for most embedded thermal management loops, not the wider -40°C to +125°C sensing range. Local sensing spans -40°C to +125°C, covering the junction temperature envelope of most processors, FPGAs, and power devices in a typical enclosure.
Supply voltage and interface flexibility
The I²C/SMBus interface supports standard and fast-mode speeds, and the One-Shot and Shutdown Mode features let the host controller gate the sensor's power draw between readings.
