Digital temperature sensor for local sensing
The Texas Instruments TMP102AIDRLR is a digital local temperature sensor in an SOT-563 package, communicating over I²C/SMBus with 11-bit resolution. It measures its own die temperature from -40°C to 125°C, making it suitable for on-board thermal monitoring in compact embedded systems.
Supply range and accuracy for battery-powered designs
Operating from a 1.4V to 3.6V supply, the TMP102AIDRLR fits into 1.8V and 3.3V rails common in portable and IoT devices.
Low-power features for always-on sensing
Built-in One-Shot, Output Switch, and Shutdown Mode let the sensor wake, take a reading, and return to a low-power idle between measurements. The I²C/SMBus interface supports multiple devices on the same bus, and the SOT-563 footprint keeps the PCB area under 2 mm².
