Dual-rail LDO for noise-sensitive mixed-voltage designs
The TLV7111225DSET from Texas Instruments is a dual low-dropout linear regulator that delivers fixed 1.2 V and 2.5 V outputs, each rated for 200 mA. It comes in a 6-WSON package (1.5 × 1.5 mm) and operates across a -40°C to 125°C junction temperature range, making it suitable for space-constrained industrial and automotive boards where two clean supply rails are needed from a single input up to 5.5 V.
PSRR starts at 80 dB at 10 Hz and rolls off to 50 dB at 100 kHz.
Protection set and quiescent draw
Built-in protection covers over-current, over-temperature, short-circuit, and UVLO — no external supervisor needed for basic fault handling. Quiescent current is 110 µA per the spec, which matters for always-on rails in battery-powered gear: the dual regulator draws roughly that total Iq regardless of load, so it is not the part for a microamp sleep rail, but it is fine for a sensor or MCU core supply that stays active.
The 6-WSON (1.5 × 1.5 mm) is a small, leadless package with an exposed pad for thermal dissipation. It is a surface-mount part.
