The TLC3578IPW is a 14-bit successive-approximation-register (SAR) ADC from Texas Instruments, sampling at 200k samples per second. That 200kSPS rate places it in the sweet spot for industrial data-acquisition channels — fast enough to capture vibration or pressure transients without oversampling, but not so fast that the digital interface demands a high-speed serial engine. It accepts either 4 or 8 inputs, configurable as pseudo-differential or single-ended.
