Key parametrics for the BOM-fit decision
The TLC2274MN: The 2.25 MHz gain-bandwidth product sets the usable small-signal frequency range — below that ceiling the closed-loop gain remains flat within the feedback bandwidth; above it the open-loop gain rolls off at 20 dB/decade. Slew rate of 3.6 V/µs means a full-scale 10 V output step takes roughly 2.8 µs to settle — large-signal waveforms at higher frequencies will distort once the required dV/dt exceeds this limit. Each of the four channels can source or sink 50 mA continuous — enough to drive a 600 Ω load to within 300 mV of the rails.
Supply span from 4.4 V to 16 V single supply, or ±2.2 V to ±8 V split — it works on a standard 5 V logic rail or a 12 V industrial bus without an extra regulator. The 14-DIP (0.300-inch row spacing) through-hole package is a prototyping and rework-friendly form factor — it fits standard breadboards and socket strips, and a hand-solder touch-up is straightforward without hot air.
Current production status and compliance
ROHS3 compliant — the part meets the latest EU restriction exemption rules, with no red-flagged substances above the threshold. Supplied in tube packaging — each tube typically holds 25 units; the tube is ESD-safe and directly feeds auto-insertion equipment or hand-load into a socket.
