The TLC2252CD is a dual general-purpose operational amplifier from Texas Instruments' LinCMOS™ series, in an 8-SOIC surface-mount package. It draws just 80 µA per channel, making it a natural fit for battery-powered analog signal chains where every microamp counts.
Parametric fit: bandwidth, slew rate, and drive
With a 210 kHz gain-bandwidth product and 0.12 V/µs slew rate, this op amp is tuned for low-frequency sensor conditioning — think thermocouple amplifiers, photodiode front-ends, or battery-monitoring circuits where the signal bandwidth stays well below 100 kHz. Rail-to-rail output lets it swing within millivolts of the supply rails, preserving dynamic range in single-supply designs from 4.4 V up to 16 V. Each channel can source or sink 50 mA, enough to drive an ADC input or a modest load directly. Input bias current is 1 pA typical, and input offset voltage is 200 µV — both well within the range for precision DC measurements without trimming.
