TLC2201CD – a precision CMOS op-amp for controlled environments
The TLC2201CD is a single-channel, general-purpose CMOS op-amp from TI's LinCMOS™ series. It delivers a gain-bandwidth product of 1.9 MHz and a slew rate of 2.7 V/µs — enough for audio, sensor conditioning, and slow control loops, but not for high-speed ADC drivers or video buffers. The CMOS input stage keeps input bias current at 1 pA, which matters when you are buffering a high-impedance source like a photodiode or a pH electrode: that bias current won't create an offset voltage across the source resistance. Output is rail-to-rail, so you get the full supply swing into a light load. Supply range is 4.6 V to 16 V, single or split. The part comes in an 8-SOIC surface-mount package.
Sourcing and lifecycle – no obsolescence surprise
The TLC2201CD is listed as Active with ROHS3 compliance. No last-time-buy notice, no NRND flag. The part is sourced through independent distribution; availability and pricing are confirmed at quote time.
