390 V/µs slew rate — what it means for ADC driving
The 390 V/µs slew rate means the output can swing rail-to-rail (2.5 V to 5.5 V supply) in under 8 µs. For a 2 Vpp differential signal into a 16-bit SAR ADC with a 1 MSPS conversion rate, the amplifier settles well within the acquisition window — no missing codes from slew-induced distortion. Supply current is just 250 µA, which is low enough for battery-powered instrumentation but still delivers the drive current needed to charge the ADC's sampling capacitor through the anti-aliasing filter. The 200 nA input bias current and 100 µV input offset voltage keep DC errors below 0.1% for most 12- to 16-bit systems.
