Automotive-grade single-gate buffer with Schmitt-trigger input

The 1.65V to 5.5V supply range covers 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V, and 5V rails, so this single part number can serve multiple voltage domains across a vehicle's electrical architecture. The 32mA symmetric output drive (both source and sink) is enough to drive a handful of CMOS loads or a short PCB trace without external buffering, but check the total capacitive load if driving long harness wires — the edge rate slows noticeably above 50pF. For high-fan-out situations, the 32mA figure gives a fan-out of about 20 standard LVCMOS loads at 3.3V.
