Single-gate buffer in a 0.9 mm pitch BGA
The Texas Instruments SN74LVC1G125YEAR is a single-bit, non-inverting buffer with a 3-state output, part of the 74LVC logic family. The output can sink or source 32 mA symmetrically, enough to drive a standard CMOS load or a short PCB trace. It comes in a 5-ball DSBGA package (1.4 mm x 0.9 mm), which is the smallest footprint for this function — useful where board area is tight, but it demands careful handling and reflow.
There is no LTB window to catch, so the procurement decision is whether the existing stock in the channel covers your build quantity or whether a pin-compatible replacement is the better long-term move.
At the 5-DSBGA package's 0.5 mm ball pitch, decoupling needs a 0.1 µF cap placed as close as possible to the supply ball; the tiny package means the cap's loop area matters more than the cap value.
