Full-duplex RS485 transceiver with a 25 Mbps bus and military temperature range
At 25 Mbps the SN65HVD30MDREPG4 supports the full RS-485 data rate for Profibus, BACnet MS/TP, or backplane links where you need to push a few hundred meters at lower speeds or a few tens of meters at the full rate. The 50 mV hysteresis on the receiver input rejects ground-shift noise that would otherwise toggle the output on a floating bus — a practical advantage when the cable runs through a noisy industrial bay or alongside a motor drive. The 3.3 V supply rail is common in modern FPGA and MCU systems, so you avoid a separate 5 V bus just for the transceiver.
