Full-duplex RS-485/RS-422 at 26 Mbps
The 26 Mbps data rate supports high-speed polling loops and real-time control networks where older 250 kbps or 10 Mbps parts would bottleneck throughput. The 50 mV receiver hysteresis provides a clean switching threshold on long or noisy twisted-pair cables, reducing bit errors from ground shifts and coupled noise without external filtering. The 3.3V supply (3V to 3.6V range) aligns with common FPGA and MCU I/O banks, but note it is not a 5V-tolerant part — level translation is needed when interfacing to 5V logic.
