The OPA2677U is a dual current-feedback amplifier (CFA) that delivers a 2000 V/µs slew rate — that is the edge rate you need when driving a 75-ohm video line or a high-speed ADC input where the full-scale step must settle within the sampling window. A CFA architecture means the slew rate is not limited by the gain-bandwidth product the way a voltage-feedback amp is; the 2 GHz gain-bandwidth product and 250 MHz -3 dB bandwidth together tell you this part stays fast across a wide gain range. If the scorch mark on a dead board points to a blown output stage, this is the part that likely took the hit from a sustained short or an overvoltage event on the line.
