Product details

2000 V/µs slew rate, dual current-feedback amp

The OPA2674ID is a dual-channel current-feedback amplifier from Texas Instruments, packing a 2000 V/µs slew rate and 260 MHz -3 dB bandwidth into an 8-SOIC package. That slew rate means it slews a 5 V output step in under 3 ns — the limiting factor in a high-speed ADC driver or video line driver is the input signal's rise time, not the amplifier's settling.

500 mA output drives heavy loads directly

Each channel delivers 500 mA of output current — enough to drive a 50-ohm back-terminated cable to ±5 V without a separate buffer stage. The 18 mA per-channel supply current is modest for this output capability; the thermal budget in the SOIC-8 package is the real constraint when both channels source full current into a low-impedance load. Supply span runs from 5 V to 12 V single or split supply, with 1 mV typical input offset and 10 µA input bias current. The 250 MHz gain-bandwidth product is specified for current-feedback topology — bandwidth stays flat across the gain range, unlike voltage-feedback amps where gain and bandwidth trade off.

Active production, SOIC-8 rework-friendly

Operating temperature range is -40°C to 85°C, covering industrial and telecom ambient conditions. The part is supplied in Tube packaging — suitable for hand-assembly or low-volume pick-and-place without reel fees.
