Fixed 1.8V rail for noise-sensitive loads
Its 63 dB PSRR at 1 kHz makes it a candidate for powering analog circuits — op-amp rails, ADC reference buffers, or sensor front-ends — where input ripple from a switching pre-regulator needs attenuation.
Dropout and quiescent current at the operating point
At light loads the 95 µA quiescent current keeps battery drain low; at 50 mA the maximum dropout stays at 0.22 V, so the pass element is fully enhanced even with a 2.0 V input. The 1.2 mA maximum supply current includes the internal bias — no external charge pump needed. Enable control lets the system shut the regulator down when the 1.8 V rail is idle.
Protection set and temperature range
On-chip over-current, over-temperature, and short-circuit protection cover the common fault modes in a 50 mA rail.
