RF synthesizer with integrated VCO – 2.028 GHz ceiling
The LMX2531LQ1910E/NOPB is a PLL-based frequency synthesizer (RF) with an on-chip VCO, covering up to 2.028 GHz. That maximum frequency sets the upper bound for the local oscillator or carrier generation in a radio chain — if your target frequency is above that, this part won't lock. The CMOS output is single-ended, so the synthesizer feeds a standard 50-ohm trace or a mixer LO port without an external balun.
Industrial temperature grade and supply margin
The supply range of 2.8V to 3.2V gives a 400 mV window — tight enough that a 3.3V rail needs a local LDO, not a direct tie. The 2:2 input-to-output ratio means two clock inputs can be selected and two outputs are available, but both paths are single-ended — no differential signalling on this die.
Sourcing and fit for the BOM
The 36-pin QFN footprint is common across the LMX2531 family, so a board designed for one frequency variant can often accept another with a firmware or loop-filter component change — but the VCO tuning range is fixed per order code. For reel-quantity pricing and lead time, submit an RFQ against your target volume.
