23 MHz GBW, 12 V/µs slew — signal-chain headroom
The LMV881LE/NOPB is a single-channel general-purpose op amp from Texas Instruments with a 23 MHz gain-bandwidth product and 12 V/µs slew rate — enough small-signal bandwidth to close a loop around a 1 MHz signal with gain of 10, and enough slew rate to swing a 2 Vpp output at 2 MHz without hitting the distortion floor from slew limiting. Rail-to-rail output and a supply span from 2.7 V to 5.5 V mean the part runs on a single 3.3 V or 5 V rail and swings to within millivolts of both rails — no negative supply needed for ground-referenced signals.
Input bias and temperature grade — sensor front-end fit
Input bias current is 0.1 pA typ — this is the figure that matters for a photodiode transimpedance amplifier or a high-impedance pH probe buffer, where the bias current multiplied by the feedback resistor sets a DC error. At 0.1 pA, a 10 MΩ feedback resistor contributes just 1 µV of offset from bias current. The -40°C to 125°C operating range qualifies the part for under-hood automotive, industrial motor-drive enclosures, or outdoor telecom cabinets where the ambient temperature inside the housing reaches 105°C. The 70 mA output current per channel drives the ADC input or a cable capacitance without an external buffer.
