The Texas Instruments LMV358M/NOPB is a dual-channel general-purpose op amp from the LMV® series, delivering 1 MHz gain-bandwidth product and 1V/µs slew rate — enough bandwidth to condition sensor outputs up to the low hundreds of kHz without trading off stability margins.

DC precision and drive — input bias, offset, output current

Input bias current is 15 nA typical; for a sensor with 10 kΩ source impedance that translates to 150 µV of additional offset — negligible in most 8-bit or 10-bit acquisition chains, but worth budgeting if the source impedance climbs above 100 kΩ. Input offset voltage is 1.7 mV typical — the part is not trimmed for precision DC, but it is consistent enough for ratiometric measurements and general-purpose signal buffering where a few millivolts of DC error are acceptable. Total quiescent current for both channels is 210 µA — low enough to keep the thermal rise in the 8-SOIC package under 10 °C even in a still-air enclosure, and suitable for battery-powered or loop-powered designs.
