1.08 GHz PLL for clock-tree cleanup
The Texas Instruments LMK04101SQ/NOPB is a single-loop PLLatinum clock jitter cleaner that takes LVCMOS, LVDS, or LVPECL inputs and delivers up to 1.08 GHz on seven outputs in LVCMOS, 2VPECL, or LVPECL formats. It is built for cleaning up reference clocks in high-speed data-converter, FPGA, and SerDes applications where phase noise on the clock edge directly degrades SNR or bit-error rate.
Input/output flexibility saves board space
With both differential and single-ended signalling on the input and output sides, this part bridges logic families without external translators. The 2:7 fan-out ratio means a single device can distribute a cleaned clock to multiple loads — for example, driving the reference clocks on two FPGA banks and five ADC channels from one input.
Industrial temperature rating for field deployment
The 3.15 V to 3.45 V supply rail is tight — plan for a clean 3.3 V rail with low ripple to keep the VCO phase noise in check.
For new designs or MRO replenishment, there is no looming obsolescence pressure.
