Clock conditioning with integrated PLL
The LMK04033BISQ/NOPB is a Clock Conditioner from Texas Instruments, integrating a PLL to clean up and regenerate clock signals up to 2.16 GHz. It accepts LVCMOS, LVDS, or LVPECL inputs and delivers LVCMOS, LVDS, 2VPECL, or LVPECL outputs, making it a flexible jitter-cleaning and frequency-translation block for high-speed digital systems. The 2:6 input-to-output ratio means one input clock can be fanned out to six conditioned outputs, reducing the number of discrete clock buffers in the distribution tree. The differential I/O paths support the signal integrity needed at multi-GHz line rates.
Operating from a single 3.15 V to 3.45 V supply rail, the device simplifies power routing — no multiple voltage domains. The 48-WFQFN exposed-pad package (7x7 mm) requires a thermal land on the PCB to pull heat from the die.
