Clock distribution hub for multi-protocol systems
The LMK00301SQX/NOPB is a fanout buffer, multiplexer, and translator from Texas Instruments that accepts CML, HCSL, HSTL, LVDS, LVPECL, SSTL, and crystal inputs, and outputs HCSL, LVCMOS, LVDS, or LVPECL. It distributes one of three selectable input sources to eleven outputs at frequencies up to 3.1 GHz, making it a single-chip clock-tree solution for high-speed SerDes, FPGA reference clocks, and backplane timing.
The 3.1 GHz maximum frequency covers the fundamental clock rates of PCIe Gen4/5, 10G/25G Ethernet, and JESD204B interfaces. At these speeds, the 3:11 fanout ratio eliminates the need for external clock fanout trees — one device drives eleven loads with matched skew.
The LMK00301SQX/NOPB is a current-production part, so there is no last-time-buy date to track.
