Supplied in an 8-VSSOP package, also described as 8-TSSOP or 8-MSOP with a 3.00 mm body width. Surface-mount assembly with Tape & Reel packaging suits automated pick-and-place. The 9-bit I²C interface requires only two bus lines (SDA, SCL) plus the OS output pin for the programmable limit interrupt. The shutdown mode drops quiescent current when the sensor is not polled — useful in battery-backed telemetry.
